Join me in Vietnam November 2010!

In 2001 I had the amazing good fortune of being able to spend a month in Vietnam.  I was able to travel from North to South experiencing the generosity and warmth of the people, touring the sites, and learning about the deep, embattled history of the country.  When I returned, family friends and neighbors voiced their surprise at my stories, their own stories of their time in Vietnam, and for many, a deep desire and sometimes apprehension to return.

For the friends, family, and strangers that want to return, that had a youth shaped by the images of a war so far away, and millions of people who simply wonder what Vietnam is like today, I am thrilled to offer a chance to see what will always be one of my favorite countries.  Among the 40 some nation's I've travelled to, none is more vibrant, diverse, and welcoming.

The build will take place in Kien Giang province in the city of Rach Gia in far Western Vietnam.
